A Sefer Torah is written one letter at a time, and it is not complete until the last one is filled in. Each sponsorship is inscribed in memory or in honor of someone you love, and read from in the place where families come to heal.

About the campaign

Where will the Sefer Torah live?

The Sefer Torah is dedicated to Habayit and will be used by our guests and the community around our homes — the families who come to New York for treatment and need a place to daven.

Can I dedicate a letter in someone's memory?

Yes. Choose "In memory of" when you sponsor and enter the name — in English, Hebrew, or both. Your dedication is recorded with the sponsorship.

Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?

Yes. Habayit is a nonprofit organization and sponsorships are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A receipt is emailed as soon as your payment is processed.

Can I sponsor more than one letter?

Absolutely — many families sponsor several. Enter a custom amount, or sponsor again for a second dedication. If you'd like to arrange a large dedication, please contact us directly.
